We're on a mission to make sure every child:
By linking the solar on the school roof with the curriculum in the classrom, we bring STEM subjects to life, making learning more relevant. This can improve academic results.
By supporting schools to embed sustainability across the curriculum, we help them to deliver sustainability and Climate Action Plans that work.
By inspiring students to share their learning with family, friends and their wider community, we empower more individuals to make positive changes for people and the planet.
By giving young people a voice, we remind them of the power they have to influence politicians and help decarbonise society faster.
Sustainability is relevant across all subjects and solar energy is a cross-curricula topic. Our educators collaborate with teachers to find creative and innovative ways to embed learning opportunities from their solar project across the curriculum.
We're committed to ensure students become more energy literate. By using real-life case studies from their own school building, they develop green skills and have a greater awareness of how they can grow and live more sustainability. We aim to prepare them for a bright future, showcasing a range of green pathways, including the exciting potential of jobs and careers that have not yet been imagined.
By educating young people in local and relevant sustainability in their formative years, we believe green habits are embedded for a lifetime.
This mindset is then passed from pupil to pupil, pupil to parent/carer, rippling through the school and community from generation to generation.
Our aim is to educate to improve the person, the school and the community. We empower pupils and staff with hints and tips relevant for their own life, fostering ideas, skills and connections needed along the way.
