Huncoat Primary receives neighbouring Solar Ambassadors for workshop

Accrington in Lancashire has produced some of our finest Solar Ambassadors to date! These committed and enthusiastic students took time out of their busy schedules at St Christopher's Church of England High School, Rhyddings, and The Hollins to deliver a workshop to younger students at Huncoat Primary.

In one session, they taught their eager young peers so much, including how solar power works using our Solar Explorer Kit, why we need the energy mix using BrightSparks4Kids' renewable energy equipment, and how much energy our home appliances consume using our Energy Appliance Cards.

They even got a few children dressed up in 'working' clothes as part of their interactive presentation of the different career opportunities in solar using our Green Job Cards.

These Solar Ambassadors certainly took their ABCD pledge seriously and, it's safe to say, they really earned their certificates!
